CITAZIONE Introduced at YCS Chicago (April 10-12, 2015), this format imposes restrictions on Summons. Duelists Dueling under this format are each restricted to a maximum of 3 Summons per turn, with a maximum of 1 Summon from each of the following options per turn (while following the normal rules regarding Summons):
- Normal Summon/Set
- Summon from the Extra Deck (i.e. Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Summons, Special Summons by the effects of cards such as "Mask Change", "Bahamut Shark", etc.)
- Special Summon from a place other than the Extra Deck (i.e. Special Summons from the hands, Main Decks, Spell & Trap Zones, etc.)
Since Pendulum Summons are capable of Summoning monsters from the hand or the Extra Deck, they use up 2 of the allowed Summons per turn (leaving only the Normal Summon/Set option). This applies even if the monsters that are Pendulum Summoned only come from the hand, or only from the Extra Deck.
If card effects are applied that impose restrictions on Summoning, such as "Summon Limit" or "Vanity's Emptiness", they are applied to the restricted Summons this format enforces. Flip Summons and card effects that return/place monsters on the field without Summoning, such as "Evilswarm Thunderbird" and "Wind-Up Rabbit", are unaffected by these restrictions.

Meh, non saprei. Diciamo che come idea effettivamente ci sta, ma per me rende il gioco troppo limitante. Insomma, ti impedisce di ribaltare. Mettiamo caso che l'avversario ha topdeckato BLS e ha settata Solemn Warning. Io evoco boh, Costrutto, l'oppo mi fa Warning e io non posso più ribaltare. Quasto porterebbe a cambiare radicalmente sia i mazzi che la banned list, per togliere tutte le carte broken (tipo bls stesso).
Insomma, per me va bene per divertirsi, ma ai tornei io lascerei perdere.

Beh non si può scrivere "ti impedisce di ribaltare" e poi "topdeckato bls" nello stesso messaggio ahahah
io credo che sia una buona soluzione, il gioco è diventato per certi versi troppo veloce (anche rispetto al formato principale di magic o fow) e questa soluzione porta un pizzico di strategia in più, ragionamento sul deckbuilding e limitazione dei pendulum poi vabbe, negli ycs penso resterà un formato a parte, usato solo nei win a mat e simili.

Per quel poco che ne so, credo che sarà un bel formato. E come ogni formato che si rispetti, è giusto che abbia delle carte bannate apposite. La cosa buona, come ha detto salk, è che questo porta ad un nuovo studio delle strategie. Ora non vince il più veloce o chi fa più summon, ma chi riuscirà con solo 3 summon a fare le mosse migliori.
