Once per turn: You can pay 1000 Life Points, then target 1 card on the field; banish that target. When this card is destroyed: You can target any number of other "Lightsworn" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do, you gain 300 Life Points for each returned card. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Sciao tizi. Dopo tanti imprevisti eccoci a parlare della carta della settimana. Con l'imminente uscita di Realm of Light, non potevo non parlare di uno dei supporti che andrà ad aggiungersi al mazzo. parlo appunto della synchro Michael.
Come già detto, Michael, The Arch-Lightsworn è uno dei tre supporti di Realm che potenzieranno lightsworn (dopo Raiden,Lightsworn assaliant e Minerva, Lightsworn maiden) e covercard dello stesso structure. Analizzando l'effetto, capiamo che stiamo parlando di una carta niente male. Pagando 1000 lp (costo che lo accomuna con Judment Dragon) possiamo bersagliare una carta sul terreno e bandirla. Inoltre, trascurando il classico effetto mill che caratterizza l'archetipo, nel caso venga distrutto mischieremo un qualsiasi numero di mostri ls dal nostro cimitero nel mazzo, e per ognuno guadagneremo 300 lp. Davvero niente male, per essere una synchro d'accesso molto semplice (lumina+ raiden per farne un esempio, o un qualsiasi altro abbinamento con mostri luce). Pensando ai suoi svariati utilizzi nel metagame attuale, la sua immagine risulta ancor più migliorata (mani che non evocano, artifact che si fottono, armor che va a quel paese senza sflipparsi) e rende ancor più interessante agli occhi di eventuali compratori dello structure.
Secondo i trivia il nome deriva dall'arcangelo michele (da qui deriva anche il prefisso Arch-), fondatore dell'archetipo dei fedeli della luce insieme a JD (che compare nell'artwork della carta). In conclusione, Michael si presenta come un buon rinforzo al mazzo, ed altri archetipi LUCE che avevano bisogno di un buon lv 7 (insieme al solito black rose dragon).
