CITAZIONE The "When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can target the attacking monster; equip this card from your hand to the attacking monster." effect is a Trigger Effect that activates in the hand. This effect targets the attacking monster.[1]
The "It cannot attack" effect is treated as the effect of an Equip Spell Card. This effect is only applied if this card has become an Equip Card by its own effect.[1]
The "When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard." effect is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard. This effect does not target.[1]
You can only activate each "●" effect of "Rainbow Kuriboh" once per turn. (Even if you have multiple copies of "Rainbow Kuriboh" in your hand or Graveyard.) If you haven't already activated one of the "●" effects in that turn, when an opponent's monster declares a direct attack, the effects of the copies of "Rainbow Kuriboh" in the hand and Graveyard can be activated in a chain. If you do, the "You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard." effect of the "Rainbow Kuriboh" in the Graveyard will be Chain Link 1 and the "equip this card from your hand to the attacking monster." effect of the "Rainbow Kuriboh" in the hand will be Chain Link 2.[2]
The "equip this card from your hand to the attacking monster." effect activates in the hand and it is equipped to the attacking monster by placing itself in the Spell & Trap Card Zone when the effect resolves. Therefore, when the effect is activated, since "Rainbow Kuriboh" does not exist on the field yet, "Mystical Space Typhoon" cannot be chained to the activation of the effect of "Rainbow Kuriboh" in the hand to destroy that "Rainbow Kuriboh".[3]
Oggi parleremo di Rainbow Kuriboh, la nuova versione di Kuriboh rilasicata dalla Konami in "Legacy of the Vailant".Nell'immagine viene raffigurato una versione "particolare" di Kuriboh, infatti sembra una versione meccanizzata dell'originale Kuriboh con un arcobaleno posto sulla testa. Anche il suo effetto è molto particolare, infatti questo nuovo Kuriboh ha due effetti, quindi due diverse modalita di uso. Se l'avversario attacchera con un mostro un mostro controllato dal giocatore avversario, allora il giocatore avversario potra equipaggiare Rainbow Kuriboh dalla mano sul mostro ed esso non potrà attaccare. Se invece l'avversario attacca direttamente, si potrà evocare specialmente questo mostro dalla mano, ma senza negare l'attacco e terminare la battle phase, come fa il più conosciuto Battle Fader.
Diciamo che questa si può definire una variante carina dei più conosciuti battle fader e swift scarecrow, è vero che questi due sono più forti da un certo punto di vista visto che fanno terminare la battle phase, ma potrebbe rivelarsi utile utilizzare il primo effetto di questo mostro per impedire a un mostro di attaccare.
Pro
- Attivabile dalla mano, può impedire a un mostro di attaccare equipaggiandosi a esso, diventando così una semi-fiendish chain
- Livello 1, si può usare nel Piper
- Un semi-fader
Contro
- Non fa terminare la battle phase
- Il primo effetto di bloccare un attacco si può fermare con un semplice tifone
- Attivandosi dalla mano può essere negato da mind drain
- Abbastanza inutile sul terreno
