If a face-down Defense Position "Traptrix Atrax" is flipped face-up by the effect of "Acid Trap Hole", the "This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards." effect of "Traptrix Atrax" is not applied. Therefore, since "Traptrix Atrax" has 1000 DEF, the effect of "Acid Trap Hole" that destroys the monster if it has less than 2000 DEF is applied and "Traptrix Atrax" is destroyed.[2]
The "This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards." effect of "Traptrix Atrax" is only applied while it is face-up on the field. Oggi parleremo della carta Traptrix Myrmeleo, che introduce il nuovo archetipo "Traptrix" che, come si può dedurre dal nome, è collegato ai vari "bottomless trap hole" "trap hole" ecc. Infatti, questi nuovi mostri, non solo sono immuni agli effetti degli trap hole, ma hanno anche effetti che permettono di trarre vantaggio da queste carte. Per esempio, la carta che andremo a recensire oggi, Traptrix Myrmeleo, permette di addare una carta "hole" quando viene evocata normalmente, o distruggere una carta magia/trappola controllata dall'avversario, se evocata specialmente. Questa carta si può giocare anche da sola in mazzi come antimeta, permettendo di aggiungere trappole e avere quindi una più alta possibilità di pararsi il terreno e rendere utili carte come "Trap Hole", che è stata sempre sottovalutata perchè permette di difendersi solo da evocazioni normali.
Per giocare questa carta vi consiglio, più che usare un deck Traptrix, un deck antimeta, in cui avrete più possibilita di fare control grazie alle numerose trappole che già giocherete normalmente, con una spinta in più data da questo mostro.
